One Act is a Los Angeles company with a unique idea. The main product, One Act Packs, are boxes filled with snacks to be handed out to the homeless in the streets. The boxes are packed by people transitioning out of homelessness and will be sold at supermarkets nationwide.
The main challenge of the project was to develop an eye-catching design that would also explain the product in a simple yet bold way. In case of One Act the creative solution is based on the idea behind the product. One Act Packs are not just snacks, but something more: An Act of Kindness, An Act of Giving, etc. In order to bring focus to this unique idea the packaging design, typography, and color scheme are intentionally kept simple. The right side panel shows the items in the box, while the back features facts about homelessness, inspiring thoughts, and a blank space for a personal message.
